Alphabet Photography.

These photos were taken throughout my everyday life, and they involve the simple and peculiar things that people don't normally look at. I was only unfond of the letter "T" which I photographed, and the letter "E". They were not very interesting, and to me they seemed quite boring. I do like the effect of the black and white coloring on the contrast of the images. I believe it makes all of them look much more complex.

Why photograph in black and white?

Black and white photography varies in appeal throughout different photographers: some may love it, and others feel that it is all too plain and simple. Personally, I believe that black and white photos are great, but only on certain subjects. If you're trying to display emotion or subtleness, black and white would be the way to go. But if you really want to display something that is colorfully beautiful and you want to show contrast, shooting in color would be the best option.
Photographers usually use black and white photography because it is very versatile and has a wide range of ideal subjects, and because it allows the viewer to interpret their own story from the photograph, rather than be distracted by excessive color. Black and white photo has been and always will be a 'fan favorite', and it will also be my personal favorite for almost all of my photos.
